How to Track Your Morning Work Routine

If you like reviewing your priorities before the workday takes over, X Calendar - Daily Routine Log can help you remember which mornings you did it. Create a calendar on your iPhone and mark the completed dates.
Can I track your morning work routine without a detailed diary?
Your morning routine might be checking the main tasks, preparing for a project session or choosing what to tackle first. The calendar can record that action without holding the entire task list. Keep the actual priorities in your work tools, then add an X once the review is done.
How do I use X Calendar to record your morning work routine?
Start with a calendar called Morning Priorities in X Calendar. The name tells you what the marks belong to, so you can look back later without wondering which activity happened on a particular date.
You can make Morning Priorities part of finishing the activity: when you finish reviewing your morning priorities, add the X before you forget the date. If that does not happen straight away, you can return and mark a date you remember clearly. The calendar does not need a complete diary beside it to be useful; it needs the dates you chose to keep.
Create Morning Priorities. After reviewing your plan on Monday morning, mark Monday. If you do the review on Thursday too, add another X. A separate Focus Sessions calendar can record later work, so preparing the plan and completing a work session do not have to mean the same thing.
- Create a calendar called Morning Priorities.
- After you finish reviewing your morning priorities, tap that date to add an X.
- Open Morning Priorities whenever you want to see the dates you have marked.
What can I see when I look back at your morning work routine?
Looking back can remind you of the mornings when you made space for the review before messages and meetings began. You can see those dates together without rating how the rest of the day went. The calendar keeps the routine simple while your chosen priorities remain where you can act on them.
You can keep the morning review separate from the work it prepares you for. Morning Priorities can show when you looked at the plan, while Report Work can show when you worked on the report. A date may appear on both or only one. Keeping the names distinct lets each calendar answer its own useful question without making one X stand for the entire working day.
Record the completed review, while keeping tasks and deadlines in the work tools you already use.
