How to Track Multiple Habits in Separate Calendars

Want to track reading, exercise and a few everyday routines without squeezing them into one checklist? X Calendar - Daily Routine Log lets you create separate calendars on your iPhone and mark each activity when it happens.
Can I track multiple habits without a detailed diary?
The name of the calendar tells you what its X marks mean. Gym Visits shows gym days; Reading Days shows reading days. You can do both on the same date, or one without the other. That makes it easier to look back at the activity you care about instead of guessing what a general daily tick represented.
Start with Reading Days and Gym Visits. After reading, mark the date in Reading Days. After a workout at the gym, open Gym Visits and add an X there. If you later want to remember kitchen cleaning, add a Kitchen Cleaning calendar. You do not need to track every routine simply because you can.
How do I use X Calendar to record multiple habits?
Start with a calendar called Reading Days in X Calendar. The name tells you what the marks belong to, so you can look back later without wondering which activity happened on a particular date.
You can make Reading Days part of finishing the activity: when you finish the activity named in that calendar, add the X before you forget the date. If that does not happen straight away, you can return and mark a date you remember clearly. The calendar does not need a complete diary beside it to be useful; it needs the dates you chose to keep.
- Create a calendar called Reading Days.
- After you finish the activity named in that calendar, tap that date to add an X.
- Open Reading Days whenever you want to see the dates you have marked.
What can I see when I look back at multiple habits?
Keeping the records separate is useful when your activities happen at different times. Gym sessions might appear twice a week, while reading happens on other days. Each calendar remains easy to scan. You can look at one habit without the marks for another getting in the way, and add more only when they help.
Different calendars can also help when two activities sound similar but answer different questions. A Daily Walk calendar can show deliberate walks, while Step Goal can show days you reached a number checked on a step counter. Some dates may appear on both, and others on only one. The separate names let you keep those records useful without pretending the two activities were always the same.
Use separate names for separate activities so you can tell what every marked date belongs to.
