How to Keep a Simple Record of Swimming Days

Want to remember when you last went swimming, without logging every length? X Calendar - Daily Routine Log lets you mark swimming dates on your iPhone and see your pool visits together.

Can I track swimming days without a detailed diary?

A Swimming Days calendar can hold your regular sessions, lessons or occasional visits. You choose what you want to include. Once the calendar is named, an X is enough to record a completed day. There is no need to enter the pool, pace or number of lengths just to keep the date.

How do I use X Calendar to record swimming days?

Set up Swimming Days in X Calendar before your next entry. You only need the calendar name and the dates you choose to mark; the everyday record can stay much shorter than a written diary.

You can keep adding to Swimming Days whenever you finish your swim. If you forget to mark it straight away, return when you remember the actual date. There is no need to write a long explanation for the delay or fill dates you are unsure about. The aim is a calendar you can glance at and trust as a record of the days you entered.

  • Create a calendar called Swimming Days.
  • After you finish your swim, tap that date to add an X.
  • Open Swimming Days whenever you want to see the dates you have marked.

What can I see when I look back at swimming days?

After swimming on Tuesday morning, open Swimming Days and tap Tuesday. Add another X after a weekend session. If you also want to remember gym visits, create Gym Visits separately. You can keep both activities organised without making one mark stand for everything you did that week.

The visual record is useful when the weeks start to blur together. You can look back at the swimming dates and remember when you found time for the pool. If you want lengths or session measurements, a swimming log can hold them. X Calendar gives you an easy way to keep the dates visible.

You might use Swimming Days for both independent sessions and lessons if you want one broad view. If lessons are a separate routine you want to remember, Swimming Lessons can have its own calendar. Either approach gives you dates you can return to without recording every length. Pick the name that will make sense when you look back, then keep adding marks after the sessions.

Include swimming lessons too if you want them in the same calendar, or give lessons their own record.
