How to Track a Three-Day Workout Week

Aiming to work out on three days a week? X Calendar - Daily Routine Log lets you mark the completed dates on your iPhone, so you can see the workout days without a detailed fitness dashboard.

Can I track a three-day workout week without a detailed diary?

The sessions do not have to stay on the same weekdays. A calendar can show Monday, Wednesday and Friday one week, then Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday the next. You record what happened after each workout rather than filling in an ideal timetable ahead of time.

Create Workout Days and add an X after each session. Look at the relevant week when you want to see which dates are marked. If you do two sessions on Tuesday, the calendar still shows one workout day. Use a separate session log if your goal is three sessions rather than three different days.

How do I use X Calendar to record a three-day workout week?

Start with a calendar called Workout Days in X Calendar. The name tells you what the marks belong to, so you can look back later without wondering which activity happened on a particular date.

You can make Workout Days part of finishing the activity: when you finish a workout, add the X before you forget the date. If that does not happen straight away, you can return and mark a date you remember clearly. The calendar does not need a complete diary beside it to be useful; it needs the dates you chose to keep.

  • Create a calendar called Workout Days.
  • After you finish a workout, tap that date to add an X.
  • Open Workout Days whenever you want to see the dates you have marked.

What can I see when I look back at a three-day workout week?

Having the dates together makes the weekly plan easier to remember. A rearranged workout remains visible on its real day, and a quiet week stays honest. You can choose suitable sessions and rest with your programme while using X Calendar as a quick record of the days you completed.

A weekly goal can still work when the exact training days change. The calendar gives you actual dates to review rather than locking you into a Monday-Wednesday-Friday pattern. If you train during a different part of the week, mark it there. You can look at the completed dates when reviewing the week, while keeping the next week’s plan flexible enough for your real commitments.

This calendar records workout days. Keep separate session counts elsewhere when several workouts on one date matter.
