Already have a programme for your lifts, but want an easy view of training dates? X Calendar - Daily Routine Log lets you mark strength-training days on your iPhone without copying sets, repetitions and weights into another record.

Can I track strength-training days without a detailed diary?

Your workout log can keep the details of each session. X Calendar can give you the simpler calendar view: which days did you train? That is useful when you want to remember attendance across the month rather than compare individual exercises every time you open the record.

How do I use X Calendar to record strength-training days?

Use X Calendar to give strength sessions a calendar of its own. After the activity, a tap on its date adds the X. You can return to that calendar whenever you want the dates together.

When you finish your strength-training session, you can make the Strength Sessions entry before moving on to the next thing. If the entry has to wait, return to the correct date when you can remember it accurately. You do not have to turn logging into a separate daily task: a brief mark for the activity is enough to keep its date available for later.

  • Create a calendar called Strength Sessions.
  • After you finish your strength-training session, tap that date to add an X.
  • Open Strength Sessions whenever you want to see the dates you have marked.

What can I see when I look back at strength-training days?

Create Strength Sessions. After completing a session from your programme, mark its date with an X. If you rearrange a workout, use the date it actually happened. You can also keep Running Days or Fitness Classes alongside it, so different types of exercise do not have to share one history.

The calendar makes it easy to see the training days together. You may find it helpful when looking back at a return to training or a busy period at work. Use the actual weights and exercises to review strength progress; the X marks are there to remember when the sessions took place.

A quick date view can be useful when you already have detailed training notes. You can check the calendar to remember recent sessions, then open the workout log only when you want to review the lifting details. The two records have different jobs. Keeping the attendance entry brief avoids copying information you already recorded elsewhere, while still giving you an easy way to see training days across the month.

Keep sets, repetitions and weights in a training log if you need them; the calendar gives you a quick attendance view.
